Michelle DeLorme (Miche’)
Vocals, Keyboards, Acoustic & Electric Guitars

Classically trained in Italian opera and piano, Michelle has been performing professionally too many years to mention. Some of her first gigs were singing in piano bars with her mother. These early gigs, age of 5, also included performing for her stuffed animals. This has  led to a long career in music. Her early 20's were spent touring and performing all types of music from R&B, Jazz, and Standards, to Top 40. In her 30's she left all that behind and became a resident rocker gigging steadily throughout Central Florida and the Tampa Bay area. Moving to Bradenton in 1997 to lead the creation of The Distractions a new era was begun. With her four octave range, diverse musical background and song writing abilities, she can sing almost anything and the band gives her a  wide range of material to pick from. In 2000 she co-wrote and released the original CD "Come & Get It". Oh, and the 40's....well we just are not going to talk about that!!
Johnny V
Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Mandolin & Vocals

Originally from Australia, Johnny ended up in Florida via New England. A lifelong passion for music and the guitar was formed at an early age when he experienced the music of The Beatles. His first lessons came from his Uncle Ernie (no relation to the one in the Who song, although he did fiddle about.) Playing in bands since the age of sixteen, he has pursued his love of guitar playing through a wide range of musical genres. This is the essence of the music of The Distractions. From blues to pop, and everything in between, The Distractions can, and will play it.
Mike Pizza
Bass Guitar & Vocals

Mike grew up in a musical family. As a child, he would relax under the soundboard of the grand piano and listen as his mother played the music of Gershwin and Chopin. In the evening, his father would turn up big band jazz music on the big monophonic sound system. Mike began playing guitar at age 15, but soon decided that bass was his instrument. By the time he was 17, he was playing in rock bands in nightclubs on Panama City Beach, Florida. He later attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where he studied acoustic upright bass with Dr. Lee Eubank. This led to 5 years of performances with the UCF Orchestra, and an additional 5 years with the Gulf Coast Community Orchestra. Mike joined The Distractions in 2001 and has become an integral part of the band’s talent and diversity.
Randy Truman
Drums & Vocals

Randy grew up in Sarasota Fl. playing music. At the age of 8 he started playing gigs with his father's country band and was hooked. Over the years Randy has played all styles of music. He began touring at 15, and through the 80's he played the northeast covering everything from country to top 40 to heavy metal. After coming off the road Randy moved to West Virginia and formed a band with his cousin. They soon were traveling the state and became a regional favorite. He met his wife Sandy and in 1990 Randy moved back to Sarasota and began playing with local country bands. Over the last 15 years he has had the opportunity to play for many large crowds and open for many major country artists, but the two accomplishments that mean the most are the births of his children Jessie and A.J. Randy is very happy to be the newest member of The Distractions and is looking forward to where the music takes him next.
